1. Summary

1.1. The proposal in paragraph 2.4 in relation to flexibility for the funding of schemes by increases/decreases of up to £100,000 is also intended to apply across committees and the following additional recommendation is submitted. This recommendation and recommendations 3 and 4 are recommendations to the Council which approved the original programme and the conditions attaching thereto.

RECOMMENDATION

That it be a RECOMMENDATION to the Council

That the following condition be added to the conditions attaching to the approval of the capital programme 2000/01 - 2002/03:

xi) (c) Where resource adjustments are required, Resources Sub-Committees be authorised to recommend to the Policy and Resources Committee an increase/decrease in the amount of funding allocated to a scheme where the additional funding does not exceed £100,000 and is resourced from the parent committee's capital programme contingency.
