1. Financial Position

1.1. The budget provision for 2001/02 is £407,100 including £100,000 added by Policy and Resources Committee for grants related to crime prevention and for work with young people. At the last meeting of this Sub-Committee it was agreed it should allocate £50,000 towards crime prevention leaving £50,000 to be allocated by the Youth Service Sub-Committee and £307,100 by this Sub-Committee for other grants.

1.2. Commitments already made reduce the amount available for allocation for these other grants to £184,566 as follows:-

2. That grants be made to the voluntary organisations and other bodies as shown in Appendix A.
