1. The UK and European Members' Annual Meeting of the Commonwealth Local Government Forum was held on 20 June 2001, the theme of the Conference being Local Government reform and sustainable development. The Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chairman, authorised Councillor D.A. Kirk to attend the Meeting.

RECOMMENDATION

That approval be given to the Chief Executive's actions in arranging for Councillor D.A. Kirk to attend the Commonwealth Local Government Forum - UK and European Members Annual Meeting on 20 June 2001.
