That the action of the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chairman, in authorising the attendance of representatives as follows be noted:

(i) Councillor P.A. Heath at the Assembly of European Regions Committee B in Milan, 17-20 May 2001.

(ii) Councillor J.K. West at the Best Value Waste Network Conference (South East Region) in Egham, Surrey on 28 June 2001;

(iii) Councillor J.K. Glen at the Overview and Scrutiny Function Conference in London, on 28 June 2001;

(iv) Councillor M.J. Woodhall at the seminar on new rights and governance in the European Union in London on 16 July 2001.

(v) Councillor Felicity Hindson at the Local Government Association and National Health Service Confederation Seminar on connecting Local Government and Health in London on 25 July 2001.
