SUPPORT AVAILABLE FROM YOUR TRAVELLER EDUCATION WELFARE OFFICER (TEWO)

· Inform and support the school when new pupils arrive

· Advise on registration

· Discuss cultural issues affecting attendance

· Help parents to read letters home and complete forms

· Bring parents to school for meetings

· Liaise with parents and school on behaviour or attendance issues

· Joint working with school EWO and other appropriate agencies
