CCTV camera networks on the ZIP route

The ZIP route benefits from a network of 19 mast mounted CCTV cameras and 6 bus stops fitted with internal mini-CCTV.

CCTV cameras

15 mast cameras in Widley, Purbrook, Waterlooville, Cowplain and Horndean for traffic monitoring. The Police and Havant Borough Council have the ability to take these over for security cover as required. The borough owns and operates 4 cameras in Waterlooville town centre and 3 bus stops with mini-CCTV in Purbrook and Waterlooville, all providing security cover. The borough and the police have the ability to take over the operation of the 15 mast mounted ROMANSE cameras located along the ZIP corridor, also for security cover, as required.
