Activate aural mode at bus stops

To further enhance security, as well as providing travel information, display screens and information points are included in our bus stops. The screens will display the actual expected times of the next four buses, and have an additional aural mode for visually impaired passengers, which will be activated by a special fob ( click here to request a fob to activate aural mode at bus stops ). However, the system required to operate the Real Time Passenger Information service is technically advanced, and we have been sharing the work spearheaded by Portsmouth City Council to put this in place. This has proved more difficult than expected, and we are currently awaiting the latest information from Portsmouth City Council as to how the project will proceed. We want to put in place the Real Time Passenger Information service as soon as possible, because we recognise that it is an important passenger benefit. We will update this section as soon as further information is available.
