1. TERMS OF REFERENCE (Report herewith)

To receive the report of the Chief Executive setting out the revised terms of reference of the Western Hampshire Transportation Strategy Panel in the light of the implementation of the County Council's new Constitution on 1 September 2001.

2. HAMPSHIRE LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN - ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Surveyor on the delivery of the Local Transport Plan (LTP) and to note the contents of Hampshire County Council's first Annual Progress Report (APR) submitted to the government.

3. WESTERN HAMPSHIRE TRANSPORT STRATEGY (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Surveyor informing the Panel of the aims and objectives of the Western Hampshire Transport Strategy and plans to consult on the draft strategy.

4. CAPITAL PROGRAMME AND TRANSPORT INITIATIVES
(Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Surveyor setting out the proposed capital programmes for 2001/02 and 2002/03 to be developed in line with the emerging Western Hampshire Transport Strategy.

5. WESTERN HAMPSHIRE TRANSPORT STRATEGY - MONITORING OF TARGETS (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Surveyor outlining the methodology and results of the monitoring programme established to assess progress towards the transport targets set for the Western Hampshire Transport Strategy area.

6. TEST VALLEY LAY-BY IMPROVEMENT SCHEME (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Surveyor on the works completed to the Stockbridge School bus lay-by, and associated transport issues relating to the School.

7. TEST VALLEY BOROUGH COUNCIL DECRIMINALISATION OF ON-STREET PARKING ENFORCEMENT (Report herewith)

To consider the report of the County Surveyor on the setting up of a Special Parking Area covering the Test Valley Borough area and joint funding arrangements to assist with capital set up costs.

8. DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING

It is proposed to hold the next meeting of the Western Hampshire Transportation Strategy Panel on Tuesday 5 March 2002 at 2.30 p.m., venue to be decided.

County Councillors attending as appointed members of this panel or by virtue of Standing Orders 17.5; or with the concurrence of the chairman in connection with their duties as members of the Council or as a local County Councillor qualify for travelling expenses.
