1 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

All Members who believe they have a personal or a personal prejudicial interest in any matter to be considered at the meeting must declare their personal interest and having regard to the circumstances described in paragraphs 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the County Council's Code of Conduct, consider whether to leave the meeting whilst the matter is discussed. The Council is asked to consider a report of the Chief Executive on strategic management relating to children and adult care services. The report will be considered by the Cabinet on 24 January 2005. Subject to the Cabinet's views, the Council is RECOMMENDED to consider and comment on the proposals in the report.

NB: There will be a short presentation by the Chief Executive and Director of Social Services at the beginning of the item followed by questions and then debate.
