County Council elections were held on 7 June as well as the General Election. Votes cast in the County Council elections will be counted on 8 June and the result for each County Electoral Division will appear here today shortly after it has been declared.

Portsmouth and Southampton

In April 1997 Portsmouth and Southampton City Councils became separate unitary authorities and now have responsibility for the provision of services which were traditionally undertaken by Hampshire County Council. Thus, there are no longer elected County Councillors for the two cities and you will need to refer to their web site for information on your local councillor.
