How do you access the Employee Support Line?

This flowchart depicts the standard ways in which the esl is accessed and counselling allocated.

ESL staff receive the call

Initial discussion and assessment made of caller's needs. The caller is matched to a counsellor in the right part of the county.

OR

Another agency is suggested to help e.g. CAB, Relate, Personnel, Union Representative.

 

Telephone

Counsellor receives details from co-ordinator and then contacts employee to arrange a first appointment.

Counsellor and client meet for a 1st assessment session, which may lead to up to a further 5 sessions.
Counselling session
