The Hampshire, Portsmouth and Southampton Minerals and Waste Local Plan has been adopted by Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth City Council and Southampton City Council. The Plan became operative on 17 December 1998 and replaced the Hampshire Minerals Local Plan, 1987. The Plan has been prepared in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 as amended by the Planning and Compensation Act 1991, the Town and Country Planning (Development Plan) Regulations 1991 (as amended 1997), and Planning Policy Guidance Note PPG12 - Development Plans and Regional Planning Guidance (1992). The Plan is in general conformity with the Hampshire County Structure Plan, 1994. |
