Audit of Hampshire’s SoilsThe first step in the process of taking a countywide approach to soil issues in Hampshire was to commission experts at the National Soil Resources Institute at Cranfield University to carry out an audit of Hampshire’s soils. The overall aim of this work was to find out what information exists on the current extent, quality and diversity of soils in Hampshire, and then to use this as a baseline for developing a wider soils project for Hampshire. The Audit is available to download as a summary version which provides a comprehensive overview (20 pages) or as the full Audit (63 pages). Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in may be required.
A paper copy of the summary report is available on request |
