Archaeology In Education

The appearance of archaeology in the primary and secondary school curriculum is likely to depend on a number of factors such as the geographical location of the school, particular contacts and interests of the teacher, and interpretation of the National Curriculum.

Most of the Museum Services in the county have an education officer, and other places of archaeological and historic interest cater for school parties.
