| Description and Date: | Bishop's Palace Ruins C.12 |
| Remarks: | Built by Bishop Henry of Blois on the site of a cemetery. Damaged in the Civil War and subsequently allowed to fall into complete ruin. The Palace was contained in a rectangular site, surrounded by a moat. Principal palace buildings were along the west and south sides of the moat. Now in the guardianship of the Department of the Environment. Limited access to site. |
