St. John's Church, Farley Chamberlayne. Norman. Small building of flint and stone. Plain arched light windows in nave, altered C.18. Early English west window, Norman south doorway with grotesque ornament. Mediaeval door and lock. Many tombs of the St. John family. Isolated on high plateau with extensive views.
