Burial Weapon
Spearhead was found in a grave 11/2ft. below the surface on the edge of 'Chalk Dell' Sutton Scotney. No other grave goods were found. The pit is now disused and partly filled in. Homestead Moat
Lower Cranbourne Farmhouse. Remains of a moat can be traced round the farmhouse. Its southern arm, the greater part of the eastern arm and the southern half of the western arm are still water-filled and in good condition. Mediaeval Enclosure (Possible)
A white rectangular crop mark circa 42m. by 38m. Its shape suggests that it may be the bank of one of 'Large group of mediaeval enclosures common on the Wessex Downs'.
