Spearhead was found in a grave 11/2ft. below the surface on the edge of 'Chalk Dell' Sutton Scotney. No other grave goods were found. The pit is now disused and partly filled in. | Homestead Moat |
Lower Cranbourne Farmhouse. Remains of a moat can be traced round the farmhouse. Its southern arm, the greater part of the eastern arm and the southern half of the western arm are still water-filled and in good condition. | Mediaeval Enclosure (Possible) |
A white rectangular crop mark circa 42m. by 38m. Its shape suggests that it may be the bank of one of 'Large group of mediaeval enclosures common on the Wessex Downs'.
