St. Nicholas, Chilton Candover. Demolished above ground 1876. In 1928 a Norman crypt was discovered which has barrel vaulted nave, apsidal chancel and lancet windows. The C. 1 4 tomb of John of Candover was found in the crypt. O.S.A. No. SU54 SE18 Ref: V.C.H., Vol. 1, p.462.     T. & C.P. Act

Manor Farm, Brown Candover. 2 storeys. Road front brick on plinth with rendered lst floor string course. Hipped, old tile roof. Long wing at back, part irregular timber-framed with herring- bone brick infilling, part brick. Long flint and brick garden wall probably C.17.     T. & C.P. Act
