 River Enborne. Northern boundary of Kingsclere and Hampshire. Small, unpolluted, shallow winding river in a completely rural area. Two or three footbridges and several public footpaths.     SU 515 636

 North Wessex Downs. The chalk downland, especially the scarp slope and its ridge, dominates the parish. Almost everything else is related to it via water supplies, two types of land and related uses from Stone Age to Nuclear Age. Sparsely populated.     N.P. Act
