Field adjacent Wheatsheaf Inn. Extensive foundations of a villa or temple discovered many years ago. Finds include a small metal bull's head, part of a bronze armilla and several coins, including two of silver. Finds from the site in Basingstoke Museum include tiles, tesserae and pottery. O.S.A.
