This parish is sited in the north east corner of Hampshire and covers an area of 4,600 acres, stretching from Blackwater through part of Minley to Cove and abounding Fleet at Norris Bridge over the Basingstoke Canal.

In the centre of Hawley is Minley Manor, owned by the Currie family until the late 1930s. They were great benefactors to the parish, giving the ground for the siting of the cricket pavilion.

There are many hundreds of acres of common land, with walks among heather, bracken and pine trees.
