Christ Church. Erected 1859, in memory of Charles Simeon M.A. Built in Gothic style. Stone structure with spire, and slate roof. Nave with flanking single storey aisles, clerestory above of rose type windows. Nave and aisles separated by pink marble pillars with foliage carved capitals and pointed arches. Apse with five narrow stained glass windows.     SU 476 292
