Beech Abbey. Flint gatehouse built circa. 1901, Monastery and church mainly of flint and stone built 1929 with modern additions in 1956 and 1970. A guest house was added to the Gatehouse in 1936. The church is not yet complete. The monastery is based on monastic pattern modelled on Tintern Abbey. Architect: Sir Chas. Nicholson.     SU 675 370
