Froyle is situated on the A31 some three miles northeast of Alton. The church is a mixture of eighteenth century brickwork and fourteenth century stone; it contains a monumental brass of 1575 and a stained glass east window that combines the arms of Edward the Confessor and of France. Since the introduction of the National Health Service the Lord Mayor Treloar College for physically disabled children has been located at Froyle.
