Landscape Feature
Langstone. Trees and water form important part of landscape. Approach from the south over bridge from Hayling Island is particularly attractive, with backcloth of trees almost to water's edge. Four streams pass through this area to the sea.     C.A.

Mill Pond
Langstone. Formed to serve Langstone Water Mill by enclosing the Lymbourne Stream with an embankment, which also served as a quay for barges when the mill was in use. The pond is now an ideal habitat for a very rich natural life.     C.A.
