The Black Dog, No. 51, West Street. 2 storeys and attic. Painted brick walls. Tiled roof. Two wide doorways with pilasters and pediments. Ancient doorway and a timber-framed wattle and daub portion, (circa 1500) uncovered during alterations, 1972. At one time, an upper room was used as the Magistrates Court.     T. & C.P. Act
