Ditched Settlement Site
Large area, part of which was excavated by Andover Archaeological Society in 1968/69, and in 1979. Finds included pottery, animal bones, iron currency bar. Two infant and two adult burials were also discovered in pits. Ref: P.H.F.C., Vol. 18, 1951-3, p.377.     SU 284 476
