The Malthouse Cottage, High Street. 2 storeys, Colourwashed brick, old tiled roof, dentil frieze below eaves. Gable on east side. Five casement windows and door facing the High Street. C.19 slate-hung addition on west side. Long barn at rear, and evidence of drying kiln.     C.A.

King's Head House, Station Approach. Cottages and shop, High Street. Interesting old tiled hipped roof. Three dormer windows to central house. Cluster of four ornate chimneys to east end. Middle house and shop has later colour-washed fa‡ade. King's Head House, formerly an inn, is 2-storeys brick built, with a later C.18 extension to left. Window arches in rubbed red bricks. Trout Cottage, The Pharmacy, Stockbridge Antiques, Stokes Garage. 2-storey cottages. Trout Cottage and Antique Shop roofed with modern tiles, whilst Pharmacy and Stokes have old roofing tiles. Colourwashed front. Sash windows, shop fronts and two blind windows. Two central cottages have dentil frieze. Stokes Garage has an iron-work balcony on east side.     C.A.
