Nos. 4 and 6. A two-storey red brick building with parapet and eaves cornice. Tiled roof with gable toleft. 0n the ground floor to the left is an early Victorian shop front with trellis-work ventilator and canopy over, door to left of window. The main entrance door has delicate semi-circular fanlight with Gothic glazing. Windows are sash with stuccoed lintels. To the north of the building is a stable block which is thought to have been an abattoir.     T&CP Act

No. 8, Maybury's. C.18 brick facade, now painted, to a possibly older house, which is built in two parts, both two storeys but the south section is of lower elevation. Northern part has cornice, panelled parapet and double span old tiled hipped roof. Five window bays, two blank on first floor. The lower south section has two windows and porch with two columns and pediment. Panelled door, upper two panels of stained glass, fanlight over. House has Fareham chimney pots with white slip bands.     T&CP Act

No. 12. Originally Nos. 10 and 12 now one dwelling. Part of timber-framed range with Nos. 14and 16, refronted in C.18, in red brick incorporating grey headers, now rendered and painted. Steeply pitched tiled roof. Two storeys, shop window to ground floor of former No. 10. Fareham chimney pots with white slip bands.     T&CP Act

Nos. 14 and 16. Part of the same range as No. 12. No. 14 has square bay shop window on ground floor. No. 16 has modern sash windows, and door. Small canopy extends over doors of both buildings.     T&CP Act

Nos. 20,22 and 24. L-shaped block, originally a timber-framed hailed building, C. 18 brick facade, painted, with corner quoins, No. 24 rendered. Old tiled roof. Two and a half storeys with attic window in gable end of No. 20. Six window bays in all, two face south, four face west, sash with C.19 glazing. No. 20 has modern brick porch.     T&C P Act

No. 26, Sydney House. C.18 painted brick facade with tiled roof. Two storeys and attic with two hipped dormers. Three windows to upper floor, the centre one blank, others sash. Doorway has pediment shaped hood. Modern shop front to south. Steps to cellar surrounded by ornamental cast iron railings.     T&CP Act
