Nos. 4 and 6. A two-storey red brick building with parapet and eaves cornice. Tiled roof with gable toleft. 0n the ground floor to the left is an early Victorian shop front with trellis-work ventilator and canopy over, door to left of window. The main entrance door has delicate semi-circular fanlight with Gothic glazing. Windows are sash with stuccoed lintels. To the north of the building is a stable block which is thought to have been an abattoir. | T&CP Act CA |

No. 8, Maybury's. C.18 brick facade, now painted, to a possibly older house, which is built in two parts, both two storeys but the south section is of lower elevation. Northern part has cornice, panelled parapet and double span old tiled hipped roof. Five window bays, two blank on first floor. The lower south section has two windows and porch with two columns and pediment. Panelled door, upper two panels of stained glass, fanlight over.
