Nos. 28 and 30. Pair of semi-detached houses, two and half storeys plus basement, stucco rendered. Bargeboards to steeply-angled gable. Splayed stone bays at first and second storeys and basement. The principal feature is a tower, at the southern corner of front elevation, this is octagonal and rises the full height of the building, with a Gothic arched entrance to the house at the base. The vertical sash windows also have Gothic style window frames. Originally two dwellings currently in use as a hotel. | CA |
