No. 26 and Vale End. Two storey cement rendered villa in L-shaped plan. Gable end slate roofs with overhanging eaves. North facing entrance wing has recessed sash window on first floor set in rusticated surround, ground floor window projects slightly under a hipped leaded roof. Projecting porch with gable and round arched recessed entrance. The west front of the garden has two recessed sash windows on first floor and windows set in shallow rectangular projections with hipped leaded roofs. | T&CP Act CA |

Peel or Shannon Naval Brigade Monument. Tapering granite pier with polished granite panels. Cornice with shell ornamentation to frieze. Surmounted by bronze trophy, the metal from a gun captured at Lucknow. The memorial rests on a stepped plinth with canon bollards at the four corners. Dedicated to Captain Peel and the Shannon Naval Brigade, officers and men, who were killed in action during the Indian Mutiny. | T&CP Act CA |
