No. 2. Small castellated villa, circa 1840. Two storeys, roughcast with rusticated quoins. Centre part gabled with shaped bargeboards. Flanking this a three sided tower and a square tower, with miniature crenellation and Gothic casements to their upper floors. Casement windows in central gabled section with rusticated stucco surrounds. Entrance set in base of square tower, gabled with open work bargeboards, panelled door, under arched fanlight set in stucco arch. West wing has two pointed first floor windows, and small gable with bargeboards, gable end to west also has bargeboards. Side elevation of east wing has casement windows on both floors in rusticated surround. Bargeboards to gable end, crenellated canted bay window on ground floor. | T&CP Act CA |
