Church C.19	Church of St James. Church of 1890 replacing one of 1838. Architect Sir Arthur Blomfield. Gothic style of C.15. Chancel with south chapel. Nave with north and south aisles of four bays. Exterior prominent red tile roof with stone copings to gables with cross finials. Traceried windows. Interior double hammer beam roof, full perpendicular treatment. Old Perpendicular font.
