Latest News 16 May 2005: Decision sought on funding reinstatement

Results of detailed discussion with officials at the Department for Transport and the Promoting Councils have now confirmed the funding that would be required to deliver the modified light rail scheme. 

In order to deliver the project within the effectiveness of the Transport and Works Act Order the promoters have requested that Ministers deal with their funding submission before the end of July 2005. For a summary of the Business Case Submission please follow the link below.
