Cars

Question iconI bought a car at an auction last week. The seller stated through the auctioneer that the mileage was correct, although he had no paperwork to support it. It was a good price, however, and as I’ve dealt with him before, I trusted him. I’ve sold it on to a private consumer, who has now complained that they’ve checked with the previous owner, and it has done 100,000 more than on the clock! Of course, I've immediately refunded my consumer, but what are my rights against the seller?
