Evidence of Hampshire's Agricultural History

Stawberries have been grown in South Hampshire for well over 100 years. They are laid out in long rows.



We can buy strawberries in greengrocers and supermarkets, but it was only more recently that you could also go to "Pick Your Own" like these two small boys.

Strawberries are picked in June and July when the weather is warm.
