Common Newt
Newts have eyes on top of their head for spotting
prey. On land they catch their prey using their tongue. In
the water they catch prey using their teeth.
Newts feed on:
worms, slugs, snails and insects
Newts are food
for: snakes, blackbirds and hedgehogs
