Mole
Moles have short velvety fur, which brushes in any
direction. This enables moles to run backwards through their tunnels. When
moving backwards moles use their short whiskered tail to feel their way along.
A mole can dig a 100-metre tunnel in a night.
Moles feed on:
earthworms, slugs and insects
Moles are food for:
foxes and badgers
