Ground Beetle
Ground beetles hide among leaf litter and under logs
during the day and hunt along the ground at night. If they are attacked they
squirt out a nasty liquid and some larger ground beetles have a nasty
nip.
Ground Beetles feed on: slugs, snails and
insects.
Ground Beetles are food for: eaten by
birds and hedgehogs
