One of the most interesting sources available to explore Gypsy Traveller culture and history is through art. Gypsy Travellers have been depicted by numerous artists over the years and in Hampshire we are fortunate to have examples of these from Flora Twort whose watercolours represent the vibrant Taro Fair in Petersfield to Geoffrey A Baker who captured Mrs White, a Gypsy flower seller who lived in Christchurch.
