The Committee for Rural Hampshire is a partnership group made up of members from a wide range of organisations with an interest in Hampshire's countryside. The Committee acts as a forum to stimulate debate about future of the county's rural areas, influence local government and other policy makers and spread good practice.

It is carrying out an Action Programme, with members working together to implement a range of initiatives targeting key rural issues. These range from a conference on the rural urban fringe to acting as a voice for rural Hampshire at the regional level.

A leaflet, further expanding and explaining the aims and the work of the Committee for Rural Hampshire is available on request from the secretary Rosalind.rutt@hants.gov.uk

It can also be viewed in PDF format by clicking on Committee for Rural Hampshire leaflet.
