Hampshire's 'School Travel Plans' logoThis website is for pupils, teachers, governors and parents interested in finding out about School Travel Plans and the Safer Routes to Schools Programme.

Our website also provides you a monthly update on the status of travel plans in Hampshire e.g. who has one?

If you are interested in developing a School Travel Plan for your school please contact the School Travel Planning Team.

Tip of the Month: If you are looking to open up an old entrance or need to clear vegetation in order to create a new path/access, why not advertise for volunteers and arrange a day on the weekend where you can clear most of the undergrowth and therefore reduce some of the costs.

You may also have a local business or a training establishment e.g. for the navy, who maybe able to help with resources and/or manpower.

Any volunteers could then be rewarded with a barbeque and a pat on the back!

For other tips, please see our 'Tip Archive'.
