HATHERDEN SCHOOL

Village School, Hatherden. 2 storeys, lime-washed brick, tiled roof, half-hipped at either end, brought down as pentice to rear. Two sets of plain wood casement windows, central double doors under C.1900  tiled hood. Plaque over front door states that the school was endowed by James Sambourn who was born in Andover in 1725.
