As part of a new scheme, proposals would see the project split across two phases:
Phase one of the project (from Elvetham Heath to Calthorpe Park School/Hart Leisure Centre) aims to create a three-metre-wide shared use cycle and walking path along Hitches Lane, stretching from the Fleet Road/Elvetham Road roundabout to the junction of Dukes Mead.
Phase two (from Calthorpe Park School/Hart Leisure Centre to Church Crookham) aims to extend the route from Hitches Lane to Church Crookham and Crookham Park, linking with the existing route to Fleet Town Centre.
The survey is open for public feedback until 10 November.
People are advised to read the online information pack to learn more about the proposals before completing the survey online.
The County Council would like to hear about people’s experience of travelling along this route, as well as their views on the proposed measures which are geared to improving connections between Elvetham Heath, Calthorpe Park School, Hart Leisure Centre and Church Crookham.
All responses to the survey will help to inform further development of the proposed schemes, ahead of Phase 1 plans being submitted for approval to proceed in the New Year. Funding for the schemes would come from developer contributions.
