Hampshire County Council, as Waste Planning Authority, has received a major planning application for the development of an Energy Recovery Facility and Associated Infrastructure at land off the A31, near Holybourne, Alton. The application will now be subject to public consultation until 14 August 2020. All planning application documents are available to view on the County Council’s web page
The application will be assessed against national planning policy and the policies set out in the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan.
Interested parties and organisations can submit representations on the proposal during the consultation period. More information on how to submit comments on a planning application can be found here.
It is anticipated that the application will be considered by the County Council’s Regulatory Committee towards the end of 2020.
