Serving Hampshire Consultation opens on 27 July

Hampshire County Council is carrying out an eight week public consultation from 27 July

Jul 1 2016

The consultation will ask residents how councils in Hampshire could change so that they can continue to provide important services in the future.

The consultation Information Pack and Response Form are available online from Wednesday 27 July

The consultation is on the future shape of local government across Hampshire and residents are being urged to influence future proposals by having their say.

You can get paper copies by emailing or by calling Freephone 0808 2024 970.

Serving Hampshire is about finding the best way to sustain public services, and secure an ambitious devolution deal from Government for Hampshire’s towns, cities and villages – with the voices of residents at the heart of any proposals.

Residents will be able to consider a range of options. The County Council is not setting out a preferred option, but genuinely seeking the views of Hampshire people.

The consultation is being undertaken by an independent market research company Ipsos MORI. There will also be a telephone survey. Your feedback will help the County Council put the right proposal forward to central Government.

The consultation closes on 20 September 2016. We will published the findings in Autumn 2016.
