Closed on
This proposal is for School Catchment Area Changes relating to Dogmersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School, Church Crookham Junior School, Tweseldown Infant School and Crookham Church of England (Aided) Infant School
Please note this is a new consultation replacing the consultation that ran between 16 June and Friday 14 July to clarify that Crookham CE (Aided) Infant School already shares a catchment area with Dogmersfield CE Primary School and therefore Albany Park, Fleet.
This consultation takes place between Monday 4 September and Friday 29 September.
Hampshire County Council is reviewing the school catchments of the schools listed above. This is in order to align the admissions arrangements for housing at Albany Park with the additional school places created at Tweseldown Infant and Church Crookham Junior School in 2017. These additional places were delivered as part of Hampshire’s school place planning strategy to mitigate the impact of the development. We have been in discussion with Dogmersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School, Tweseldown Infant School, Church Crookham Junior School, Crookham Church of England (Aided) Infant School, the Diocese of Guildford, the Diocese of Winchester and the Diocese of Portsmouth in order to consider catchment arrangements for the schools listed above.
Consultation on admissions priority for children living in housing at Albany Park, Church Crookham.
The housing development at Albany Park is currently in the catchment area of Dogmersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School and Crookham Church of England (Aided) Infant School. The Local Authority is consulting with you on creating a shared catchment area for Albany Park between Dogmersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School, Tweseldown Infant School, Church Crookham Junior School, Crookham Church of England (Aided) Infant School.
The governing bodies of Dogmersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School and Crookham Church of England (Aided) Infant School are not proposing to change their catchment areas as a result of this proposal, therefore the effect of this change will be to create a shared catchment area for Albany Park between Dogmersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School, Crookham Church of England (Aided) Infant School, Tweseldown Infant School and Church Crookham Junior School.
It is therefore proposed that the shared catchment arrangements will be implemented for school admissions from September 2025 onwards.
