Pre planning consultation – proposal to build a new school at Boorley Green

Hampshire County Council is proposing to submit a planning application to build a new primary school at the premises of Boorley Green to be opened by the start of the September 2018 academic year. The new 420 place school will be an Academy or a Free School.


A public drop-in session is being held on Tuesday 10 May 2016 at The Diamond Jubilee Hall, The Botley Centre, High Street Recreation Ground, High Street, Botley, SO30 2ES between 4pm and 7pm when Hampshire County Council officers will be available to discuss the proposals for the school site.

This pre-planning event provides an opportunity to view the plans for the proposed works and discuss them directly with officers. There will be further opportunity to comment on these proposals as part of the formal planning process. The County Council has a statutory duty to provide school places and is committed to creating them where they are most needed.
