Hampshire County Council is reviewing the school catchments to accommodate the new housing at Netherhouse Copse (formally known as Grove Farm)

Hampshire County Council have been in discussion with the local schools about a proposed change to the catchment area.

The planned new housing development at Netherhouse Copse currently falls within the catchment area of Dogmersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School. However, due to site restrictions at Dogmersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School, there is insufficient capacity to accommodate the number of the children forecast to come from the development at Netherhouse Copse. Tavistock Infant School and All Saints Church of England (Aided) Junior School are able to accommodate the number of the children expected from the development. It is therefore proposed that the catchment boundaries should be redrawn to remove Netherhouse Copse from the Dogmersfield Church of England (Aided) Primary School catchment area and include it within the catchment areas for Tavistock Infant School and All Saints Church of England (Aided) Junior School for admissions from September 2021, onwards.

The governing body of Dogmerfield CE Aided Primary School have agreed in principle to this proposal and are carrying out their own consultation, available on their website, on the proposal to move their catchment boundary to remove the area to be known as Netherhouse Copse.

Additionally, the governing body of All Saints Church of England (Aided) Junior School that shares the same catchment area as Tavistock Infant school, have agreed in principle to the proposal to extend its catchment area and move its catchment boundary to include the proposed housing at Netherhouse Copse. They will also be carrying out their own consultation, available on their website, on the proposal that the catchment change be in place from September 2021 admissions onwards.
