Have your say on proposed walking and cycling improvements for Aldershot

Consultation open until

Hampshire County Council is asking local people in Aldershot for their views on proposals to improve the area around Aldershot Railway Station

The aim is to enhance accessibility, make it easier to walk and cycle to the station and make the area more attractive.

Background and context

Hampshire County Council is committed to creating better spaces for people in our town centres and has secured £3.28 million from a successful bid to the Government’s Active Travel Fund. This funding is to be used to create better spaces for people walking and cycling in and around our towns across Hampshire to enable social distancing for safe, essential journeys and support physical activity and exercise during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic - and as we work towards a period of recovery.

The consultation is open from Monday 22 February and closes at midnight on Sunday 21 March 2021.

Note that responses received after this time will not be included in the findings report.
